Postdoctoral Researcher Kang Cai to Become a Professor at Nankai University in China

Kang Cai is leaving his position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Northwestern University to start his independent academic career in research in China. He will take up a tenure-track position as a Professor of Chemistry at Nankai University on December 1, 2020.

During his four years as a member of the Stoddart Group, Kang has completed a lot of outstandingly good research on the development of mechanically interlocked molecules (MIMs) and artificial molecular machines (AMMs) employing radical-pairing interactions. Congratulations and good luck now that you have the opportunity to do your own thing in research, Kang!
