Jacob Weber was born in Durango, Colorado. He completed his B.S. in chemistry at Fort Lewis College in 2009. Jacob carried out his PhD in physical organic chemistry under the supervision of Professor Edward L. Clennan at the University of Wyoming, which began in August 2014 and was completed in March 2019. In April 2019, he joined Professor Philp at Northwestern University as a postdoctoral researcher. His research is within the burgeoning field of systems chemistry.
