Han Han was born and grew up in Jiangsu province, China. He obtained his BS degree in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Soochow University in 2015. He then joined Peking University and obtained his PhD in applied chemistry under the guidance of Professor Dahui Zhao in 2020. His doctoral research focused on magnetic interactions and applications of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon diradicals. In March 2021 Han moved to Nankai University as a postdoctoral fellow with assistant Professor Kang Cai, working on developing deep-cavity macrocycle receptors toward biomedical applications. In September 2021, he joined Sir Fraser Stoddart’s group as a Postdoctoral Fellow. His current research interests focus on the rational design, synthesis and applications of molecular machines and radical cages.
