David Pe joined our Group as an Undergraduate Researcher at the beginning of 2019. He was an active member up until he graduated in June 2020. While in the Group, David worked closely with Dr Indranil Roy. During this time his main focus of his research projects were the photophysical characterization of a new host-guest complex, demonstrating photon upconversion and the synthesis of near-infrared emitting macrocycles. David is currently a graduate student in the UCLA Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry working under Professor Sarah Tolbert studying fundamental crystal chemistry in fast-charging battery materials.
Congratulations David!
