Former Postdoctoral Fellow Cristian Pezzato has received the Ciamician Medal from the Italian Chemical Society. The medal is awarded to a young promising chemist at the start of an independent career by the Organic Chemistry Division of the society. During his time (2015–2018) at Northwestern, Cristian made intellectual impactful and experimentally innovative contributions to the design and synthesis of artificial molecular pumps. Well done Cristian and many congratulations!
