Fraser Stoddart was in attendance at the 110th Anniversary Celebration of Lanzhou University on September 17th, 2019. He was joined by former Stoddart Group members Andrew Sue from Tianjin University and current postdoc Qinghui Guo to help the university celebrate 110 years of profound academic background and history. Both Qinghui and Xirui Gong, who defended her PhD thesis recently, are former undergraduate students of Lanzhou University and have experienced great success under Fraser’s supervision during their time in the Stoddart Group. Lanzhou University has played a key role in scientific research, talent cultivation and community service during its 110 years of existence and the anniversary event was a celebration for the ages!
