Qinghui Guo, a postdoctoral fellow in the Stoddart Group, has recently published an article in Chem titled A Hierarchical Nanoporous Diamondoid Superstructure. As first author on this high level publication, Qinghui constructed a supramolecular diamond using a multiple-level self-assembly process. The 3D nanoporous diamondoid superstructure can efficiently extract metal oxoanions. This research is a significant step toward a better fundamental understanding of hierarchical assembly.
