Fraser Stoddart finds himself in good company as a speaker at the 14th International Symposium on Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry in Lecce, Italy. Fellow Nobel Laureate Ben Feringa is among many pioneers in the macrocyclic and supramolecular field to speak at ISMSC 2019, and is joined by current Stoddart Group members Ommid Anamimoghadam, Mustafa Çetin, Alan Enciso, and Penghao Li. In addition, many former group members are in attendance at this international event: Ivan Aprahamian, Jovica Badjic, Jonathan Barnes, Florian Beuerle, Lei Fang, Ross Forgan, Jishan Wu, Chenfeng Ke, Ken Leung, Hao Li, Zhichang Wu, Victoria Martínez-Díaz, Ognjen Miljanić, and Andrew Sue. The conference focuses on a variety of subjects relating to macrocyclic and supramolecular chemistry including self-assembly & self-organization, molecular devices & machines, and nanomaterials among many other topics.
