The Stoddart Group has recently landed the front cover of Chem with an exciting publication on the synthesis of a new class of mechanically interlocked molecules (MIMs), which contain large numbers of like charges in high densities and are very challenging to obtain synthetically on account of the Coulombic repulsions among the molecular compartments. First Author Minh Nguyen’s article was very well received by the editors of Chem and the group was invited to submit images for the front cover of the October 11 Issue. The selected cover graphics show several interlocking structures with a radial [5]catenane at the forefront and its various components dispersed in the background in a colorful, stylized way. We are excited to display our research on the front cover of such a highly regarded scientific publication. Congratulations Minh!
