I was born and raised in Lebanon (South Lebanon). I started my studies in Chemistry in 1998 at the Lebanese University in Nabatie (Lebanon) where I spent 2 years. in 2000 I moved to Beirut to finish my B.S. in chemistry. After that (September 2002) I joined the University of Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg France where I did my Masters degree and My PhD with Dr Anne-Marie Albrecht-Gary. I graduated in Dec 2006. January 2007, I joined the Stoddart group as a post-doctoral researcher at UCLA before I moved to Northwetsern University (October 2007). In the Stoddart group, my research is broadly focused on developing switchable organic molecules for integration into nanowire crossbar reconfigurable logic devices. When I am not in the lab, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and my new sweet baby.
