I spent 5 years and 9 months in the JFS group. It was the best and most enjoyable time of my life. I met wonderful, most creative and intelligent people with great enthusiasm performing world-class research and spent a phantastic, unforgettable time with all of them! After a splendid 3 years postdoctoral stay within the Müllen group at the MPIP I decided to go back to my roots. In 2003 I joyned Sensient Imaging Technologies and one year later I was delegated to the newly founded Chemieparkinstitut (CPI) performing industrial research associated with the small companies located in the chemical triangle Berlin-Leipzig-Halle (East Germany).
