I started my first research work on host-guest chemistry in Prof. Yong-bing He’s lab as an undergraduate researcher in 2001. Since then, I have been fully focusing on chemistry and been enjoying the excitement and fulfillment in the lab. I spent two and a half years in Hong Kong as an exchange student. It is a super crowded and hot city where you can have tons of fun.

From the pacific west coast to the great lake Midwest, I followed Sir Fraser Stoddart as a "scientific nomad". As a result, I have had the oppurtunity to experience both Los Angeles and Chicago as a graduate student. In this group, I'm working on creating molecular muscles, interlocked polymers and functionalized nanoparticles. We do extensive intra group and inter group collaborations. Chemistry in our group is intense and exciting.

I like video games, soccer, photography, outdoor activities and so on.
