Qishui (Tracy) received her PhD in Chemistry from Columbia University in 2015 working in Prof. Colin Nuckolls' group. For her graduate studies, she developed the synthesis of conjugated macrocycles and molecular wires for organic electronic applications. She was introduced to supramolecular chemistry as an undergraduate at Tsinghua University, where she studied the self-assembly of stimuli-reponsive polymers in the lab of Prof. Xi Zhang. She joined the Stoddart group in January 2016 as a postdoctoral fellow, working on incorporating mechanically interlocked molecules into metal-organic frameworks to create robust, redox switchable materials.
