Message:

I was born in Sichuan Province, China. I spent 18 years in my beautiful hometown to grow up. When I was a child, I was fascinated by all the amazing phenomena of nature and wanted to dig out all her inner beauty. I became interested in chemistry during my high school, and I had a chance to participate national chemistry competition and got a very good score.

After graduated from high school, I was admitted by Peking University, the best University in China. I got very good undergraduate education in Peking University. In 2009, I joined Prof. Jian Pei's group, which was the first time that I touched the real chemistry research. I had two years wonderful time in Pei Group, as well as I found that I am especially interested in supramolecular chemistry.

During my undergraduate research, I read a lot of papers about Prof. Stoddart's molecular machines and found that I would like to spend my PhD life with these little stuff. Finally, I am lucky enough to come to Northwestern University and join Stoddart Group. I think I will have a great PhD life here!
