Message:

I grew up in Lucerne, a nice little town in the heart of Switzerland. After finishing highschool I moved to Basel to study chemistry. In 2006 I obtained a Master of Science in Chemistry with a main focus on organic chemistry. I then did a PhD at the University of Basel in the group of Marcel Mayor. The aim of my thesis was the synthesis of new functional molecules for molecular electronics. Currently I am a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Sir Fraser Stoddart with a scholarship from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
